The land of kings and colours- RAJASTHAN

Of all the states in India, there is a state with the richest culture and tradition, folklores, mesmerizing sand dunes, and mind blowing heritage and this very land is called "RAJASTHAN." The neighboring states are Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. The capital is JAIPUR and this city alone has so much to offer to tourist in the form of palaces and forts.

It can be called the land of colors and also the land of kings, looking back at the amazing history of the state. For many people it can be simply a place where they can go and visit the forts, palaces , desert etc but for me it is a land filled with the air of romance, especially in the city of UDAIPUR which is considered to be the most romantic city in India. It boast of some of the best hotels and resorts in the world where one keeps on coming back after the first visit. The colorful Pushkar fair (also known as the camel fair) is simply irressistable as the place gets totally transformed into a beauty overnight and show cast the rich tradition of the state. Then there is the sand dune of Jaisalmer where tourist go for the adventurous camel safari, and the experience is simply exhilarating. Jodhpur is famous for the forts (known as the fort city).

India is now a democratic nation, undivided and all monarch abolished when Independence was won from the British Raj. However, the fact remains that no one can snatch " ROYALTY" from the kings and their generations and this is because blue blood runs in them, they were born royals and have always maintained dignity and elegance. From the olden days, Rajasthan was very famous among the rulers where they made the base and the capitals over there and till today the huge and very beautiful places exist and the descendants do live there. The royals own the best vintage cars available in our country, wear very eye catching and heavy jewellery and live life no less than their ancestors though they no more rule. One should definitely visit this colorful state and enjoy the experience of a lifetime.
