City that never sleeps: Aamchi MUMBAI

Mumbai which is the capital city of Maharashtra and it is one of the most populous city of India. Mumbai is known to be financial and entertainment capital of India as the top centres of commerce in terms of financial flow are from Mumbai and also the city houses for Hindi( bollywood) industry which is a entertainment source for the people. The business oppurtunies and the potential to offer high standard of living attracts people from different parts of the country to come and stay there and that is why it has become a melting pot of many communities and cultures.India's biggest business of Bollywood industry runs mainly from Mumbai and all the revenue related to this is being generated from here only and is called economic hub of India. Mumbai is the birthplace of Indian Cinema.


In terms of politics Mumbai was the birthplace of Indian National Congress as the first session of Indian National Congress was held in Mumbai. If we talk about the culture of Mumbai it offers a diverse lifestyle with variety of different foods, and night life as other capitals of the world. It has unique blend of cultures as people from different regions migrated to Mumbai so they brought different cultures with them which are followed here. They celebrate both western and Indian festivals such as Diwali, Id, Holi, Christmas etc. Gudi Padwa which is new year for Marathi people is celebrated. Beaches in Mumbai are the major tourist attractions here. Juhu beach, marve beach etc. Essel World is a theme park and amusement centre and is Asia's largest theme water park. 

If we talk about fashion Mumbai is the most fashionable city in whole day. The people of Mumbai tries to follow fashion and think what should they wear in order to look more smart. People try to wear cotton clothes here because of the weather which is hot. The street food of Mumbai is very popular which is sold by the hawkers on the road. Pani puri, Pav bhaji, Vada pav Bhelpuri etc are the main things that are mostly eaten by the people out there. There are many tourist attractions in Mumbai which includes different types of beaches, forts and many gardens etc and the most important is the bollywood industry here. This is the city which is known to be "the city that never sleeps" because the people work day and night over there and is the most bussiest city in India which generate high amount of revenue for our country which adds to our GDP.
