Delhi, the heart of India is the National Capital territory of India and is one of the Metro cities of India. It has second largest population and highest land area of the whole India. Delhi is considered to be the cluster of so many cities which are spread across this metro city and that is why it is sometimes called as the "City of Cities". Also Delhi is considered to be one of the most populous cities all over the World. Delhi, which is a political hub of India is not only famous for its historical importance but it is also famous for its rich culture. people from all parts of the country lives here.

There are many monuments that can be seen in Delhi. Jama Masjid- India's largest mosque, the Red Fort, Purana Qila, Qutab Minar, Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Raj Ghat and many more. there are in total 175 monuments. the festivals like Republic day, Independence day etc are celebrated in Delhi only because of its history and political hub in Delhi. Also Holi, Baisakhi , Lohri are celebrated with great excitement over here. People save money to buy colorful and new clothes at the time of these festivals. They celebrate all these festivals with love and harmony among them all. Delhi is a place where people from all over the country reside and it has become the melting point of all the sub- cultures. People from different cultures tries to bring their culture or cuisines with them that is why Delhi is sometimes called as MINI INDIA. Mainly tandoori items such as kababs etc, pulao, parantha, chat etc are popular. In India every state has their own way of getting dressed same is the case in Delhi. The women wear churidar or salwar kamiz and men wear kurta and pajama. and at the time of marriage, the men adorn themselves with sherwani or western suits and women wear saris.



Delhi Metro is also there which is used for the best use of the people and it helped the people in saving time as Delhi is the largest in area therefore earlier people use to take lot of time to reach from one place to another but with the advancement in technology and Metro it became easier for people. So Delhi as a hub is growing day by day and it has n number of tourist spots because of which it earns high amount of revenue.
