Hidden paradise far from the madding crowd- North East India

Geographically, the entire India is spread very far and wide with varying tradition and cultures divided according to boundaries and zones. However, in all these hustle bustle work of division there lies a region which is devoid of pollution and that place is known as the seven sisters states (North East India). These states comprises of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. Each state have their own distinct cultures ranging from folk songs and dances, food, traditional attire, religion etc. The North- East region is rightly called as the land of warriors and this is mainly due to the fact that even the mighty British army failed to take over the reign completely from the warrior.

The region is very rich in flora and fauna and variety of vegetation. The moment someone get out of the airports or the train stations after long journey one can definitely smell the fresh air and can feel the lungs becoming young again. In most of the states the food found is either continental or Chinese
cuisines and they taste just heavenly. We can even stop our car anywhere in the middle of a small stream and drink the fresh water without a second thought, because the water flows down from the mountain in its purest form. Assam is completely plain and the rest of the states are situated on the hills so the region is a place which starts from the mountains to the sea.

The people are very warm hearted and are always at their best when it comes to welcoming guests from outside the region. The traditional attires and ornaments are very colorful and elegant worn by both men and women. One should definitely pay a visit to this part of the region and I bet that you'll end up thanking me for invoking the traveler inside you- because it is a paradise created by the hands of God in a very delicate way.

BHARAT: Coming together with a difference

India is a diverse country and it can be seen that different regions in India have their own distinct cultures. Cultures include many different things such as Religions, languages, Music, Dance, Food, Dresses, Festivals and many more.

The 29 states of India have their own culture which depicts their way of living. India is divided in four parts i.e. NORTH , EAST, WEST, SOUTH and every part has there own culture. the amalgamation of several cultures is known as INDIAN CULTURE. The culture of India is so diverse that a southerner coming to the North finds it very difficult to adjust to the environment, because for that person everything looks like ALIEN.But inspite of all those differences at the end of the day we are all Indians and are proud of our motherland which has so much to offer to her children.
